"Hector H is very pleasant and did a great job assessing the water damage and getting things under control. We felt reassured by his professionalism and expertise. He worked quietly and diligently as he inspected the water damage using meters, probes and other instruments to measure the degree of moisture and humidity. Hector kept us informed answering any questions as he continued explaining and showing us his
findings and recommendations for correction. We were impressed how quickly Hector H took control of the situation by working quickly and efficiently removing old water soaked padding and debris and setting up equipment to dehumidify and air dry affected areas. His work is organized and he displays
professional competence; we felt very confident as he labeled and documented areas of concern then hooked up the equipment and encouraged our questions and/or comments. He has a great attitude and work ethic and reviewed the brochure with us about next steps in this process. We feel lucky that Hector H was the guy that came to handled our crisis. He quickly got the situation under control, assessed, it, show us the problems identified by the meters , probes data ect... set goals with us and explained the interventions and using equipment to dry out our home. He put emphasis on safety and precautions as being paramount in safe and effective correction; as we reviewed the brochure noting numbers to call him or the company in case of emergency or immediate concern. Hector was just as pleasant and reassuring when he was leaving as he was when he walked in our door. I hope if we ever have a water crisis again we can have Hector H service us. "Back in January 2022 I returned home from work to find our refrigerator in the kitchen had been leaking water from the ice maker, covering the kitchen floor with a pool of water, which caused damage to the flooring in the kitchen and living room, including baseboards and drywall in areas.
I called my insurance company, who dispatched ServiceMASTER Restore, who arrived the following morning to access the damage and began the process of drying everything quickly.
I was provided frequent updates from Nico Ponce, Project Manager assigned to my case.
ServiceMASTER removed the laminate flooring from the kitchen and half of the living room, removed the bottom kitchen cabinets, baseboards and some drywall. During the process, some mold was discovered behind the drywall below the kitchen sink. The mold was removed, area sanitized and ready to start the replacement of the water damaged areas.
Later when the General Contractor said I needed to schedule a “pack out” of everything from the kitchen and living room, including furniture and kitchen cabinets (All the cabinets were being replaced). I was not sure who to contact, so I reached out again to Nico for a recommendation, and she mentioned they offer “pack-out” and return services and would have Sofia reach out to schedule an estimate.
Nicole arrived to assess our “pack-out” needs, provided me and my insurance company with an estimate and scheduled the service.
A team of four people arrived as scheduled and did an amazing job of packing everything with great care, including labeling each box with the contents and location (which kitchen cabinet the contents of the box were from) which made it so much easier when putting everything back once the new cabinets were installed. Also the furniture such as couches were wrapped from top to bottom to protect and keep clean which in storage.
